Hello once again from beautiful Coos County, NH.
I have been out in the community this past week and have had several opportunities to chat with different people about this blog. So, far I have been asked the following questions:
"What in the (insert expletive here) is a blog?" (This is my personal favorite. :-) )
My answer: "A blog is an interactive online journal that any person can write with a bit of creativity, a little spare time and energy as well as having something to write about. It can be about anything from your family, personal experiences, your business or career, your hobbies, etc. I personally write about Coos County and all of the great stuff we have here."
"You actually get paid to write about Coos County?"
My answer: "Oh yea baby. Coos County is the best place to raise a family, breathe clean air, feel safe at night while being able to work where you play and play where you work. I am happy to get the word out there of what is going on here."
"Who reads that kind of stuff?"
My answer: "Anybody who types in the URL or does a blog search for Coos County, NH. That person could be somebody in high authority, a kid surfing the net, even the President." (I know, I'm flattering myself here.)
"I have seen it actually, and I would like to write a blog also."
My answer: "I'm going to fix that. Log in at the end of this week and see what I have in mind."
So with that said, I am going to put something out there to all of you. If you would like to be heard on this blog, by all means you can leave a comment. If you would like to "guest blog," - you may send me an e-mail with your blog and I will only edit it for grammar, punctuation, and spelling only. Please keep in mind that this is a "living room atmosphere" and that I will not accept profanity or general bad behavior. Lively discussion is always welcome. Also, the blog must be about Coos County, NH and/or any of the towns/city in Coos County. Let's get this party started people! In the mean time, check out our poll, we hope to have a new one up every couple of weeks and I will post the results in a blog here on this page.
