The idea of raffling off the opportunity to blow up the Berlin Pulp Mill stacks is brilliant. if you haven't heard, Coos County Family Health Services is selling tickets for an opportunity to be one of three people to actually hit the button that blows us one of the three remaining smoke stacks that have dominated the Berlin skyline for decades. Now that is $5 well spent. And thanks to North American Dismantling for making it possible.

Q: Do We in the North Country wish to
Endeavor towards Servitude?
I ask this in Regard to the "Branding"
efforts now underway. Also:-
What are the Recent Trends up here in
Coos County?, Is Our Leadership Trending Us Downward Economically? Are They
"throwing in the towel" ( no pun intended! ) and shooting for third best, i.e. what can be expected from a
Carribean Nation?
An interesting and relevant point of
reference is Trends Watcher
Gerald Celente, alarming but predictably
correct.. You can bank on Him. The best
way to make money is to PRODUCE a product that is in Demand, and can Not be left
out of the Family Budget.

Add to that that the money raised will benefit local children that do not have Dental Insurance. Currently Coos County Family Health provides dental screenings in the schools and sends home a note to parents of children that need further treatment. The money raised will help to cover the costs of fillings at local participating dental offices. I'm not sure what the qualifications are for the program but I think it's an incredible use of the funds.
