Everyone should get engaged in this conversation

As you might have heard, the subject of gambling is once again on the legislative agenda given our state's chronic lack of funding for needed services. The governor has set up a commission to study the pros and cons, and part of their research is a "listening tour" around the state. It's coming to Berlin next week on Feb, 13 and will be held at the White Mountain Community College. According to organizers, the purpose is "for citizens to talk about their hopes, fears, visions and values on both sides of this issue.  The focus of the effort is not to advocate for one side or the other, but rather to encourage fair, honest and respectful conversations."
